Who Am I?
Hey there, I'm Michaela, the personal trainer and nutrition coach behind Well-Formed Wellness. I believe that health and wellness doesn't need to be complicated or boring, which is why I'm here to make it easier and exciting for you. My goal is to help guide you towards living a well-formed and healthy lifestyle, from the ground up.

My Background
Growing up I wasn't really exposed to the world of health and wellness. Never thought much about what or how I was eating, or about moving my body. When I was 18 I lost someone in my life, who was way too young to go, due to health issues that could have been prevented through exercise and good nutrition. Immediately, I knew I had to take better care of myself and my loved ones.
I became invested in the world of health and wellness on a personal level. It wasn't until years later that I officially started working in the fitness industry and helping others begin on their journey to wellness. At some point along the way I obtained my yoga teachers certification, PN L.1 certification for nutrition coaching, and eventually added my CanFit Pro Personal Training Specialist certification into the mix. I realized that the knowledge I've gained over the years would be put to better use by sharing it with others, as far and wide as I can possibly manage. So, 10 years later, here we are changing lives.
I started coaching 3 years ago and very quickly realized how much my clients mindsets were involved in the process of overcoming their biggest barriers. This inspired me to offer specific mindset coaching as a stand alone offer for those that want to work on their wellness, but don't feel called to work on the fitness or nutrition aspect. For some of us, the mindset is all that matters!
